Markeith Wiley
Markeith Wiley is an artist who creates out of necessity. His work can take the shape of a contemporary dance, a late night talk show or an industrial fashion experience. He is also an arts educator in Rainier Beach & a managing artist director at Studio Current. Markeith is curious about life, making him a serial collaborator. In the last year Markeith has created a full dance performance in collaboration with Erik Blood, started a monthly DJ event at Vermillion gallery & bar with fellow music enthusiast Alice Gosti & has started a monthly performance party at Studio Current called SC Sessions. He has performed with Keith Henessesy, Kitten n' Lou, The Dance Cartel, Lingo and so many more. His most recent work was seen at On the Boards in November of 2016.
